Criminal Club

The Criminal club aims to bring a greater understanding of Australian true crime to USC. Its events will be run as educational sessions, collaborations, and guest lectures aim to increase awareness of aspects of the criminal justice system and accountability within our everyday society to USC and club members. There will also be assistance for first, second- and third-years students from relevant faculties, such as criminology, law, psychology social science, social work, mental health work and Bachelor of Arts students. This will be implemented through discussions and peer-to-peer supports during weekly group sessions.

DHARMA FRIENDS OF CHENREZIG
Are you interested in meditation, Buddhism and/or connecting with other like-minded USC students? Then this group is for you! We delve into meditation, Buddhist philosophy as well as psychology. We focus on modern techniques for wellbeing rooted in ancient wisdom that are backed by science. There’s no need to be Buddhist at all - please come along with an open mind/heart and feel comfortable to engage as you wish! Group activities include: on-campus meditations; casual meet ups; as well as group trips to visit Chenrezig Institute, an existing Buddhist and wellness centre in Eudlo on the Sunshine Coast (please feel free to Google it 🌞🌴).

A University club based on the aims and objectives of Zonta International. The aims are for the improvement of all aspects of socioeconomic factors through advocacy and support, to advance the understanding of good will and peace and to promote justice and the basic human rights across the globe. This group focuses on international womans and childrens rights.
The group intends to provide participating students with core responsibilities in designing their own project which hopefully can be applied in thier program area. The group will promote developing graduate attributes of group members and the broader student community.
